Who We Are

Many can say that they are marketers … strategic thinkers … writers … designers … researchers. They’re industry experts and education gurus. At LocalTide, we’re all of those things too.

But we’re also pioneers … as the leaders of a college marketing department for a multi-degree school in New England, we created one of the very first and most successful integrated marketing organizations in the higher education space.

We’ve worked with presidents, deans, faculty, administration, students, and alumni. We’ve lived and breathed institutional politics. We’ve rebuilt and revitalized a marketing and LocalTide : Who We Arecommunications department to serve a diverse campus community, get results, with extraordinary client satisfaction. We’ve rebranded an institution from the inside out. We’ve launched new programs, capital campaigns, and some really amazing marketing campaigns. We’ve created new ways to assess and measure marketing effectiveness in higher education. We’ve walked a lot more than a mile in shoes that might be a lot like yours.

And … we have over 20 years experience consulting to higher education and Fortune 500 organizations.

We know how to adapt quickly to different institutional cultures and contexts, hit the ground running to understanding your needs, connect with leadership, and develop valuable, workable solutions to your challenges.

That’s what makes us different … the blend of inside experience as part of a college/university administration and the outside perspectives and skills gained from consulting to various different institutions.

In 2008, LocalTide Marketing was formed to provide innovative, integrated marketing solutions to colleges and universities that want to accelerate the achievement of their admissions, advancement, and academic reputation goals. The firm is led by two Managing Partners:
